If your debit card is lost or stolen, you should immediately freeze it to ensure that your account is secure until it's been found.

Freezing entails blocking your card temporarily, here are steps on how to go about freezing your card.

  • Login to your Eyowo account

  • Tap on “Go”

  • Select “Physical Cards”

  • Tap on your Card

  • Tap on Freeze just beneath the card

  • Confirm that you want to freeze the card, by tapping on the “Yes freeze” button

  • Key in your passcode to complete the freezing process.

If you find your missing card, you can unfreeze by following these steps :

  • Login to your Eyowo account

  • Tap on “Go”

  • Select “Physical Cards”

  • Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap on “Unfreeze Card”

  • If you wish to restrict card usage, you can toggle on any of the features

  • Input your password to complete the process

Deactivating a card means you’d be deleting your card permanently to request a new one.

Note: The action of deactivating a card, once completed cannot be undone.

To deactivate your Eyowo card, follow the steps below;

  • Login to your Eyowo account

  • Tap on “Go”

  • Select “physical Cards”

  • Tap on the plus icon at the top right corner of the screen to request a new card.

  • Tap on “Yes Request new card to confirm that you want to permanently deactivate your card and request a new one.

  • Key in your passcode to complete the deactivation process

  • Type in your contact number and address, tap on “Request Card”

  • You’d receive a success message indicating that your request is being processed.

Note: A notification will be sent via the mobile app or web once your card is ready.
