Validity describes the active period of an ID. This allows you to determine the life cycle of all IDs created within your business/organization.
ID validity can be set for an ID at any time. ID validity can be set in three ways as explained below;
Date Range: This is done by selecting a date range i.e., start date and end date e.g., setting start date as 01.10.2000 and end date as 02.10.2000. This means one (1) day has been set as the validity date.
Date Interval: This is done by selecting a date interval. There are three intervals available namely; ‘Days’, ‘Months’, and ‘Years’. Examples of an interval include 1 month, 4 years, 7 days, etc.
Frequency: This is done by selecting the number of times an ID should be used.
An ID can have unlimited access by checking the ‘Indefinite’ box.
